Description of Under the Shadow of the Dragon board game :
Experience exciting adventures in a fantastic world! A terrible Dragon has been terrorizing your homeland for quite some time. Who will be able to confront this creature of eternity? Courage alone will not be enough to win this battle. Ancient scrolls hold the secret of how to make a mighty magic weapon. It is not until you have equipped yourself with such a special artifact that you may take up your quest of bringing the creature's reign of terror to an end.
You gather experience, treasure and artifacts on 9 different region maps. In doing do you will encounter creatures you have to fight, such as the yeti or the Lionbear. You will meet helpful creatures, such as the Unicorn or the Juggler. You rjourney will lead you into the city of the Mages, up to the gate of the Underworld, and atop the White Mountain. But time is short! For your enemy, the terrible Dragon, may well strike at any time to thwart yoru plans.
Playes need to find 1 of 3 scrolls to create a magic weapon - the only means of defeating the monster.
Challenges of the game are decided by strategy and a bit of luck with the dice. This is a complete and easy-to-learn game for 2 players offering endless game combinations. You may also use it as an expansion set for a 5th or 6th player to enjoy Return of the Heroes.
